Godzilla Meets the Power Ranger

If you are a big fan of the old Godzilla movies, then you should see this. Pacific Rim uses many of the same character types, dialogue format and story plot from those old shows. Then they brought in the Power Rangers to battle the monsters.  In addition to using a worn-out format, they then added in inappropriate comedy with caricatures of British and American scientists. Even Mako, the lead woman character, was a shallow stereotype of an Oriental woman of decades, even centuries ago. I used to like watching the old movies, but my tastes have since evolved. I was disappointed that Guillermo del Toro was involved with such a poorly presented film.
